Legit Reviews:
Verdikt:If you can't already tell I really like this heat sink. I think Thermaltake did wonders on their update on the Big Typhoon and for those that don't own a Big Typhoon you are lucky because the Big Typhoon VX made a great heat sink even better. If air cooled overclocking is in your future or if you are tired of a noisy system the variable speed Thermaltake Big Typhoon VX fits the bill for all and deserves the first heat sink Editor's Choice award that I have given out in years.

Verdikt:TTIC is always back with some innovative and compact coolers but we did not expect the NPH Big to be such a mammoth. While their smaller NPH 775-8 and NPH AM2 were compact, the NPH Big is too huge for a desktop PC. In fact, we wouldn’t recommend to users who always move their PCs around. Judging by the performance of these coolers, we don’t see any reason why you should choose it as we could easily find better coolers in the market. Besides, the NPH Big also comes with incompatibility issues with certain motherboards that uses NB heatsink. If you find these new TTIC coolers appealing to you, you should perhaps give it a try, but don’t expect any impressive results from these coolers.

Verdikt:...
As stated at the beginning of the review, this unit it aimed more towards the novice and budget users who want to get a liquid cooled system. This unit is perfect for it. It gives you the benefits of a water system, plus the ease of using an air cooler. If you want to get into water cooling and are on a tight budget, or just want something very simple to get started, the Thermaltake Silent Water II is definitely worth looking at.

The NH-U12F is one great cooler. The performance levels which it demonstrated here today are truly awesome. It was right in the middle of the pack with some very stiff competition. But what really put it to them was when the second fan was engaged. Some may say that ‘of course, there was another fan added’. True enough, but what makes it all possible is Noctua including the necessary equipment to mount a second fan.
Speaking of fans, they are another reason why this cooler is great as it is. The NF-S12 fans are really quiet and slow spinning while maintain enough circulating to make the cooler efficient and affective.

Verdikt:
The Aquagate Viva is an interesting piece of hardware. The ability to cool a processor or a video card is very unique for an all-in-one water cooling setup of this nature. The built in waterblock/water pump really cuts down on the footprint inside of a case and the small radiator that can mount in any number of positions really makes the Aquagate Viva a versatile product.
The biggest drawback takes away from a lot of that versatility and that drawback is the flow meter. It is a great idea and the alarm certainly will alert you if something is wrong because boy is that alarm a piercing buzz. The only problem is that it really makes installation tough. Because of the flow meter, the tubes become gangly and awkward to manipulate, especially considering the flow meter has to remain in an upright position to function.
If Cooler Master can refine the flow meter then this Aquagate Viva is really a great product that can be used in any number of ways. As it stands now, I would definitely recommend users to make sure that their case has room, in the right spots, that will facilitate an acceptable installation. The performance really surprised me because I did put it through a pretty tough test and the Aquagate Viva performed admirably, but the installation really diminishes the overall appeal.

The Silent Water all in one liquid cooling system from Thermaltake is an interesting product in some respects. The small size and mounting options make it compatible with many cases without modification. It offers the novice watercooler a complete, easily installed solution that has fairly wide compatibility at a very reasonable cost. Careful shopping can get you a Silent Water kit for around $60 US, about what you'd pay for some high-end air-cooling solutions. Its performance is on par with air-cooling as well, but one shouldn't expect dramatic results. The Silent Water's appeal comes from its small footprint, ease of installation and low cost. Its cooling performance won't impress most watercooling enthusiasts, but they are clearly not the target market here. It can be quiet, but it's loud when running at top speed. All in one watercooling for $60 is the big draw for the Silent Water, not its cooling performance.

Verdikt:
All in all, our today’s test results didn’t quite justify for the use of thick heatpipes and special gas mixtures alongside with peculiar cooler design. Actually, I have to admit that Asetek VapoChill Micro cooling solution offers pretty mediocre efficiency for the money you got to pay for it. Moreover, you will have to purchase a special retention for a new platform, because it is not bundled with the cooler.

The Eclipse has a very unique design, but its performance is lacking. A handful of the other coolers performed better. The Eclipse is not a total loss though. The installation is very simple and we did not encounter any problems there. Also if you are building a system for basic use then the Eclipse would be perfect. While on silent mode it cools well during idle and is very quiet, which is ideal for most users. I think if Cooler Master came out with a version of the cooler with copper heatsink fins it would cool much better. The jumper system on the cooler is a bit weird, I would have preferred a simple switch. Overall ThinkComputers give the Cooler Master Eclipse CPU Cooler a 7 out of 10 score.

So I was already really impressed with the first two models of the Reserator (the Reserator 1 and Reserator 1 Plus). And although we can discuss whether you might or might not like the design of the Reserator 2. I must admit it's a good-looking and most of all first-class device. The overall cooling performance is uncomplicated and really good (for a passively water-cooled PC). If you are a sucker for silence like yours truly then you'll have to agree with me that this is one impressive kit for various reasons. Let's talk through some of them.

Verdikt:
The Thermalright Chill Factor Thermal Paste may look like the generic stuff, but the performance indicates that it is anything but. In addition to providing a temperature drop that reveals that this is performance paste, it offers many other features that should appeal to computer enthusiasts. It is not electrically conductive, it isn't sticky so you won't pull your CPU out of the socket when removing your cooler, you get a decent volume of paste in the syringe, and it is very reasonably priced.
...
Given the performance boost it provides without making a big mess or conducting electricity, the Thermalright Chill Factor Thermal Paste earns the Bigbruin.com "Highly Recommended" award. And considering the price and amount of paste you receive, it earns the "Good Value" award.

The CoolIT Systems Freezone CPU Cooler does a great job at what it claims to do, and that is chilling the CPU and providing better cooling than most stand alone water cooling kits without the installation and service hassle. If you remember my review of a water cooling kit I did using a AMD 64 3200+, I only achieved an 8 degree drop to 27 down from 33 at stock speeds with two 120mm fans buzzing away. Here I am seeing a 17 degree drop using an overclocked dual core CPU for around the same money as a full blown water cooling kit.

The Zalman CNPS9700 LED currently retails around $70 while the CNPS9500 LED goes for about $47. Both the Thermalright HR-01 and XP-120 are priced lower, at approximately $34. This is understandable, because both Zalman heatsinks use copper, which is more expensive than the aluminium used in the Thermalright heatsinks.
The ThermalTake MiniTyphoon, on the other hand, is priced somewhere between the Thermalright and Zalman coolers. Of course, these are only estimated prices. I seriously wouldn't recommend the MiniTyphoon to anyone, considering that its terrible performance.
We are so impressed with the Thermalright HR-01's performance, when coupled with either a low-speed fan or the fan duct, that we would like to give it our Reviewer's Choice Award. Congratulations, Thermalright!

Verdikt:
I really had fun reviewing this cooler. Vigor has managed to tackle all the problems associated with a thermoelectric cooling element and integrated it seamlessly into a tidy package. The construction is great and the only problems I foresee users having with it is the annoying stock fan and heating of adjacent components. The TEC gets hot. With the low RPM reference fan on I actually burned my hand when checking for condensation thinking I was touching the cold side, not the hot. I guess it takes the nerves a few seconds to distinguish between them. The cost may be a stumbling block for some, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it based on my experience.
